Good yield for Penticton Athletics at the Kamloops Centennial track and field meet over the May long weekend.

    Alyson, came first in the (16-17) high jump at 1.6 metres and first in the javelin event with a throw of 32.67 metres.

    James, came first in the (14-15) 100-metre hurdles in a time of 15.94 seconds and in the 300-metre hurdles in 44.97 as well as second in the triple jump at 11.29 metres and second in the long jump at 5.37 metres

    Forest Cooper was third in the the (14-15) 200 metres in 24.99, fifth in the high jump at 1.4metres, sixth in the 100 metres in 13.53 and sixth in the long jump at 4.82 metres.

    Emma Houiellebecq was third in the (16-17) high jump at 1.45 metres.

    Kirby Hodson was forth in the (14-15) 1500 metre run in 5:53.04, fifth in the 400 metre run in 1:11.52, fifth in the 800 metre rush in 2:40.01

    Dan Stasiuk was fourth in the (16-17) high jump at 1.55 metres, seventh in the javelin at 23.15 metres.

    Kent MacArthur was fourth in the (14-15) javelin at 26.84 metres, eighth in the long jump at 4.61 metres. 

Good job to everyone involved, big thanks to Gustav, good coaching.. as well  the parents that came and to Kathleen and her sister for putting everyone up for the two nights..
